Since this is /vr/ I can't bitch about how there are literally no non-simulation bike racing games in the modern era, the best is actually Driveclub and PGR4. But back on topic, please recommend me some /vr/ bike racing games that are not real world circuit snooze fests like Moto GP.

Try the sequel on PC, don't play the 15 fps PS1 version

Moto Racer 2 on Playstation runs at like 15-20 fps or some stupid shit, it's literally unplayable as much as I love it. On PC however it's blistering fast and the controls are super responsive.

Rollcage Stage II on Playstation has nicer touches but it also plays more responsively on PC.

Jet Moto 1 and 2 on Playstation are cool ass games but they're also ~20 fps and control like absolute ass. Jet Moto 2 Championship Edition lowers competitors to 4 to achieve 30 fps and it plays like night and day. And considering this generation loves to tie framerate to game speed, the physics are pretty different and is infinitely a better game at 30 fps.

Framerate is not a meme, boys.

I played Moto Racer 2 on PS1 first and it was a frustrating experience because the framerate almost made it unplayable. But on Windows it's an entirely different experience, you get full framerate allowing you to fully exploit the glue-like handling. That and you get twice the grid. However the PS1's ska rock soundtrack was replaced by something a lot more tame.

Moto Racer 1 has acceptable framerate on PS1. Moto Racer 2 however is fucking offensive on PS1, literally 15 fps and straight unplayable. I had to get it on PC and my god it is beautiful and extremely responsive at 60 fps. I feel like they cranked the graphical effects like chrome, rain, fog, and texture mapping way beyond what the PS1 could handle.

Nice game to OP with.

Unfortunately my answer is the same everytime, this and >>3216873 for PC/PS1/3DO/Saturn. >>3217124 is good too if you allow the sci-fi variant. Remember that Jet Moto 2 runs at the usual 25 fps, but the green label version dubbed "Championship Edition" limits races to 4 players but runs at 30 fps and all Jet Moto 1 tracks are unlocked.
