buy a used wii and hack that.

if i remember correctly, some of the most popular loaders/emulators connect to servers to sift/organize/relabel/insert cover art for everything built in.

it is also more powerful than a RPi at roughly the same cost

it has better emulators and piratable official .wads of all the best retro games put together by nintendo

it can emulate/run n64 + gamecube + wii games

it is easier to 'dummy proof', i remember 'childproof' features when setting up my last one.

and it has a plethora of controller options that just plug and play, no syncing bullshit.


this is a really stupid use of a RPi when used wii's exist, cost the same, and do the job better.
