He's really not trolling. Azure dreams is a weak roguelite with some town building. Nethack might be a bit much but if you do like it then Shiren the Wanderer might be worth checking out.

I recommend Tales of Destiny. There are only two games in the Tales series I liked, but I quite enjoyed it. Combat isn't deep but it's actiony and fun and the world and characters are all fun.

Came here to post this. I don't like most of the Tales games, but I loved Phantasia and Destiny and recommend them very highly.

I hated Eternia personally, but I know it has fan so worth checking out if you liked the first two.

Kind of curious if /vr/ has any sort of experience with emulators. Specifically, epsxe 1.8. I'm having a bit of trouble attempting to play some of the RPGs I missed when the PlayStation was relevant. Anyways, I have epsxe up and running.

I have two games, Lunar 2 and Tales of Destiny. Lunar 2 works amazingly, while Tales of Destiny, my ps3 controller refuses to work with it. I can't figure out why and nothing I can google is working. I have tried F5 in game and using the command -forcepad when running it. Neither work. Ive also tried using 2 different roms.

I was just curious if anyone has run into this problem or knows a solution. Thanks.
