Use S-video on
SNES
64
3DO
DC
PS1

Needed on dc and ps1, snes was the least improved but still very noticeable, have component on ps2 and tested it with s-video and component on ps1 games and only black level and color intensity seemed to be any different. detail appeared the same on my consumer tv.

PS1, FF Chronicles, s-video, regular tv.

just use 240p test suite, it's better than the built in on my sets.

adjust the h size to hide the overscan on a crt, easy
>>3643823
analog to analog transcoding doesn't introduce lag.

hook up a usmc, scart cable, shinybow rgb to yuv converter, component cable, trinitron. Flash the card with atom 15 and use crt_emudriver 2.0

If you're not a total pleb you can probably fab a cheap sync combiner and save some cash.

larger consumer sets tend to have more pronounced scanlines as well, your mileage may vary.

Here's an old 35" set, PS1, s-video.

KV**FV are the higher end models but it should have a nice picture. Do you have something that will hold it and a friend to help move it though? Unless you are a bg guy 27" is about the largest one person can carry.

you get a receiver that can accept toslink and you plug it into your console and the receiver and you set the audio output, not really necessary unless you are running a real 5 or 7 channel surround setup. I don't notice any significant improvement in sound quality in 2ch

this has a lower tvl @35"and looks okay to me running y/c. I'm sure it would look fine with 450 @43"

these were probably rare when new and torn down for scrap or just junked. at 440lb its heavier than a large fridge so finding one is prob zero percent.
>>3208492
some posters do, you need a soft 15hz compatible gpu iirc

heres some scanlines on my 35" mitsubishi console tv,
