I never really got into MK but my cousin did. SFII is fun though, especially SSFII and SSFIIT

Power Stone is pretty fun and wacky. There's also the Mega Man fighting games which predate Smash Bros and a few fun spin-off titles like Mega Man Soccer and Rockman Battle & Chase. The Disney games while arguably formulaic in that they are just basic platformers also have their own fun mechanics, like Scrooge's pogo stick. Though I guess SNK does have wackier sports titles

Played it on Street Fighter Collection, iirc Cammy is not in it so I ended up going with Sakura. She's fun to play but for whatever reason the inputs seemed a lot faster than SSFII and SSFIIT so I ended up missing a lot of specials and supers.

Not that anon but shmups do have a lot of diagonal movement and are usually designed to be played with an arcade stick (not exactly the same as an analog stick but still), some also prefer using it for fighting games since they also require a lot of circular motion

I mean, yes and no. Most arcade games fall into the category of "easy to pick up, difficult to master". And in the mastering, therein lies the time sink. For me I just play them while waiting for something to load or in between other tasks nowadays, but I can understand wanting to spend more time with a good game. It's like sinking your teeth into a good book or a movie trilogy.

I honestly never knew there was a third EX game. Played and enjoyed EX Plus Alpha and EX2 Plus on PS1, if I can emulate or manage to find this somewhere for cheap I'll definitely give it a shot. Thanks OP

Street Fighter II Turbo on SNES was my first one in the mid-90's. Nowadays I prefer Super Street Fighter II Turbo on 3DO or just Super on Saturn or SNES. Occasionally Advanced V.G. on Saturn depending on my mood

Wasn't this basically Romeo and Juliet but with robots? Lol. For some reason I never thought of it until now

Just regular boring Super Street Fighter II/Turbo for me, usually as Cammy. If I'm feeling adventurous maybe Advanced V.G.

I guess best was an exaggeration, but it's definitely better than Super Street Fighter II on Genesis and SNES which were released the same year...

Honestly even though it's considered a fifth gen console I feel like in many ways 3DO is like a souped up fourth gen console. Just a shame it couldn't last a bit longer (with maybe a bit more quality control/less shovelware)

I haven't played this game yet, was not impressed with Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon or Ultraman Powered, but I'm willing to give it a shot.
