Same for the discussions on SCIV. Apparently one of the most popular SNES games that had near-unanimous approval at the time of its release was actually a gigantic pile of shit that isn't even worth emulating for free and we just didn't notice for a few decades. For some reason Castlevania brings out the most tryhard autists.
