I used to think this too, because I grew up with Mike on the Sci-Fi channel, but then I started watching Joel episodes when I got every episode in a torrent.

I now see both Joel and Mike are awesome. Too bad they never really seemed like friends much. I wonder if their get-together reunion happening later is going to bet awkward for them.

Nigga, i am not terminus to judge if Metroid Dread didn't got its content, a lot of people could simply port Metroid Prime Hunters maps to Metroid Dread but nobody did, meanwhile Push has like 70 maps, 3 of them made by the author and one of said maps is a collab [Push28] and that's why i am butthurt and that's why i think push got so many maps was because there wasn't creative limitations, with Push you can map whatever layout you want with whatever textures you have, meanwhile on Metroid Dread you have to make a layout that works well with the mod which requires lots of playtesting and modifying the map so it works 100% with the game, this is called lots of effort and its something that push doesn't have

Hi /vr/, I'm from /v/, but I don't completely fit in there.

I'm somewhere between you guys and them. I don't really care for CRT screens and whatnot, but I love the SNES and N64, and I do occasionally emulate them. My favorite games include Neverwinter Nights 2, Star Wars Battlefront II, Phantasy Star Online, and Kirby's Dream Course. I don't like a lot of newer games that I feel are overhyped and generic. I'm not a graphics "whore" as I do enjoy older games with decent style.

I guess the whole point of this thread is to ask if anyone is similar to me, caught between /v/ and /vr/, and what are your interests lately. What kind of games are you playing nowadays? Anything with other IRL friends? Do you have to give in and play their generic FPS games to play with them? Anything along those lines.

Currently, I've been enjoying Space Engine, Legend of Grimrock II, the Drift Stage demo, and some emulation of Gamecube and PS2 games. A lot of single player games, as you can tell. It's difficult finding something along my interests to play online nowadays for some reason. Especially since I have a friend who just built his gaming PC but doesn't like older games. I feel like that limits what we would possibly enjoy together.

Anyway, thanks for hearing me out.
