You should just not bother at all. I'm not interested in it at all. Get the sprites, sonic-tier re-color them and copy and paste different parts of other monsters on them. You don't need to make anything from scratch, just download them and cut and paste. That requires no talent.
You can do the coding right, or do you need someone to do that too?
