Depends on your friend, if he's a normie that thinks anything with sprites instead of full fledged 3d objects in it is "basic", then it's of no use, most of the doom mods that use 3d objects instead of sprites are kind of shitty anyway, like that seedy doom remake mod bethesda shot down recently.
