He's right though. Doom mods are largely not compatible with one another, and if you want a complete experience, play a full package set or make it yourself. Just because someone uses the funny green arrows and says something abrasive doesn't mean they're baiting.

It shows. Demonsteele hasn't been a thing for a long, long time, and there's still people that are very fond of Hideous Destructor, myself included. I understand why it turns off a lot of folks though, seeing as it has a steep as fuck learning curve and it's pretty fucking unforgiving. Though it has some extremely satisfying weapons and it turns every encounter into something into something lethal.
Maybe instead of posting inflammatory shit in the hopes of discussion or (you)s as if you're on /v/, you could instead just post normally.

TL;DR HDest is okay, Demonsteele is dead, you don't need to post like a /v/tard to get a conversation going here.

Disappointed there's no fist and chainsaw, as for the weapons themselves

>Pistol looks okay, has weird recoil frames, bit of an ammo drain
>Shotgun feels weak, pump animation feels really weird and robotic, you have a blank frame for a split second after the muzzleflash frame
>SSG has a weird timing to its reload, why does the gun pause for a minute then glide back to its idle frame after being reloaded? Otherwise it's an SSG
>Chaingun looks acceptable enough, fire rate is shit for the current amount of damage it does, fire sound is odd, and I hate that view pull effect
>Rocket Launcher is probably the best looking weapon here, try making the weapon go down less while firing, the way the weapon opens you could sell that opening animation as a recoil dampening thing. No autofire is a questionable choice, and the tiny muzzleflash doesn't match up with the projectile. Either make the muzzleflash bigger or get creative with the projectile, like make it start out small looking and have it expand out
>Plasma gun looks okay in the idle frame, looks completely fucking bizarre during the pullback frames after firing, why is this the only weapon with an altfire?
>BFG's whine before firing is very piercing, view pull isn't very good, and the projectile itself lacks feedback on hitting things.

Don't get discouraged, just polish this shit further and keep working on the art/animation/weapon mechanics.
