/vr/ - Retro Games

Picked up a RP4P after debating it for a few weeks and it's pretty nice. a good compliment to my Anal log Pocket compared to the 405M I have due to its widescreen meaning I can stream from my PC to it and play ports of Pizza Tower and such better giving it a unique use case. The actual console feels solid and my hands are small enough that I find it comfortable without a grip though the L and R buttons are a bit too clicky for my tastes and I don't like analog triggers in general. the sticks feel great on the other hand, nice and smooth as does the dpad. the screen is a bit better than what /hhg/ led me to believe I was expecting a TN 3DS sale smearfest but I only notice ghosting in NES games. I saw Emulation station has an android version now so I'm giving that a go and have no complaints. Gamecube and PS2 are more fiddly to run than I thought they'd be but still leagues better than my 405M

overall after a week I'd give it a 4/5
