If you emulate with a real CRT set up 1:1 and a proper controller for said system, then no.
There's no bugs, glitches or games you can't play, the emulation is far ahead these days and you can have just as little latency as the original system, even less if you'd want that, but no idea why just not stick to 1:1 with the original hardware, you already get other benefits of emulation, like faster loading.
