Eh, I've scoured the Famicom library looking for cute anime girls games to play and there really aren't that many female-character focused games on Famicom. There's like 30 times more games that are just about men doing stuff.
Fortunately the PC Engine came along to fix that depressing situation.

I own a DUO-R. Maybe it was budget back then, but nowadays it seems like the most reliable model of PCE CD around.
