>loads of great memories of TBC and WotLK playing with friends from both IRL and in-game
>Cata makes me quit because I had WoW burnout and Cata was garbage
>decide to come back last year
>play for several months and eventually stop some time early this year
>find the game itself is much more polished and is better than TBC and WotLK (as far as game mechanics and all that shit goes)
>but it's not as fun because it's 2020 and everybody is an anti-social weirdo now

Serious question: Why did the RTS die? And why has it taken so long for anyone to revive it?

Are there any mods that have ever provided a reasonable incentive for the player to use the pistol every once in awhile? Are there even any old shcool shooters that do that? I cant think of one where you dont pretty much abandon your starter weapon after the first quarter of the game
