It is also worth noting that /vr/ football team is preparing for the participation in 2019 4chan Winter Cup! We've been competing against other boards in simulated soccer matches since 2013 and we hope to put up some fight in upcoming season too. As always, we'd love to gather opinions and suggestions coming from board denizens regarding players and music we should use in the next tourney. Incidentally, we are getting close to the Summer Cup 2017 - soccer competition played between the boards where each board prepares a team that represents their culture in form of customized players, sport kits and music. Event is played on heavily modified version of PES in AI vs AI coach mode and streamed live, so fans can watch and root for their favourite teams. /vr/ competes in this tourney since 2013 and still fights for that one and only title of champion.

When deciding on things like player names or music used as anthems or goalhorns, board input is the most important factor. If you want to learn a little bit more or share your opinions about the things we should use, please spare a few minutes of your time on voting in this poll:

/vr/ will play the first match of this season on July 28 or 29, depending on the group and opponents we will draw. We value the feedback from the fanbase above everything else, and every vote and voice counts!

>What is this?
Put simply, a simulation of Pro Evolution Soccer being competed between teams which are embodiments of boards of the 4chan imageboard. The players represent facets of each board's culture. And of course, /vr/ has their own team as well.

>Why should I care and why don't you fuck off?
The cup only happens once every 3 or 6 months for like 3 weeks and only on the weekend so we wont interrupt your true /vr/ experience for too long. If you are new, give it a try and you might even enjoy it. If you don't, we are sorry.
