I doubt it was TAS. Honestly people are forgetting the fact you can just spinjump on to of the normal and angry fishin boo to get to the p-switch, grab it and then damage boost back to spinjumping on them again. The /v/coins are in easy to get locations too. It is 100% luck and cycles.
My biggest hangup was dropping into the pipe.
Booster meanwhile is about execution. If you fail the execution you're forced to try again, but if you get it perfect then not only will you breeze through the section, you'll breeze through all of them. If you fluked the execution, you'll have to do it all over again until you've learnt it.
I had more issues with Sadist Course EX than either.
