Sort of, you could brace and try to keep control of it in runaway full-auto, but you'd have a really difficult time keeping it on target.

Not that you'd use a machinegun like that in sustained full-auto fire anyway, you'd use it in repeated bursts, and ideally with another machinegunner (or two), to take turns firing as you pause (this is called 'talking' machineguns), to make sure your gun doesn't overheat at a bad time.

It'd also depend on what kind of machinegun you're looking at, a GPMG in a full-sized rifle cartridge can be tougher (though not impossible) to handle standing:

The MG3 for example is derived from the old Wehrmacht MG42, known for it's very high rate of fire, so it's among the less easy ones, (something like an M240B would be easier), the rate of fire in the .webm makes me think MG3 tier.
You really want to use a bipod with a weapon like this.

But something like an LMG/SAW in an intermediate cartridge (like used in an assault rifle) would be much easier to handle.

What mod is that anyway, Mutiny? It looks different.
