So I'm looking to use an extron matrix switcher because after all this time, I've finally had enough of independently swapping SCART plugs, switching audio inputs independently, and so on.

Only issue is I already have SCART cables for my consoles, and buying SCART-BNC cables would end up costing a lot. However, I have a little bit of experience doing babby-tier soldering fixing consoles and RGB modding and such, so I figured I'd try out making my own SCART-BNC adapters. So if I need 8 adapters, I'd just buy 4 SCART cables and 4 BNC cables, and then cut each of them in half and splice them together, right?

So the question is, which cables to buy? Can I trust something like this?
