Got the urge to play Hexen again, except now because of Steam's NUH-UH attitude to divorcing themselves from chrome, i've been using Linux Mint for a while and everything involving the operating system works fine.

The final testicle-kicker is that Eureka has no internal ACS support like Slade3 does, Slade3 corrupts Eureka maps i load/save in it, and Zandronum has horrible screen tearing that makes it look diagonal on quick turns.
tl;dr
Fucking nightmare.
