I'm not a big remake fan, but at the very least, I've always though Shogo would benefit from a remaster. Make the game run well on modern hardware, give the graphics a facelift, etc. Considering how things are, it would be done by Nightdive.
They could probably even do the cancelled expansion packs, if given enough time.

The intro to Shogo really sold the mecha anime feel that the game was going for https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_cCOBF9KZ8 It's part of the reason that I still love the game despite it being not that great of a shooter.
