Exactly, that'd be way worse to see than what actually happened, they died with a couple of consoles that didn't sell as much as the others, but followed SEGA's arcade style and direction through and through, if they were around the chance that they'd be just like Sony/Microsoft, promoting all of the garbage they do, shoving down on players' throats, is way too high still.

We had a good run, and a bunch of consoles in the 80's/90's that gave us video games in their purest form, arcade, gameplay density, not slop made to cater to socialist millenials in the USA.

I still can't believe G4 killed TechTV and themselves. Let alone of it happening twice 10 years later. I loved Tech TV and really liked early G4. It's wild how much the big wigs over at G4 fucked up marketing the channel and understanding what viewers wanted. Just show video game related content. Shows like Cinematech must of pulled in bigger audiences than Cheaters

Funcoland in my area was great. Though I mainly remember it from the 5th generation

Any reason you are wanting to use only this Gamestop branded switch? I am sure you could buy one on Amazon for cheaper and better quality (if you can believe that). I have a component switch and it works great.

Couldn't agree more with these posts. I am glad I am not alone in my thinking the internet really went downhill with rise of social media and smart phones. I don't think there is anyway to reserve. Corporations have too much power and control and culture wars stop any real change from happening. It doesn't help both political parties are in the pockets of these big tech groups (I hate that say, we need to come up wit something better and less political). I really miss the old internet. My biggest issue is people were generally a lot nicer 20 years ago on the internet. Everything is so negative and reactionary now in peoples attitudes. I blame social media for that.
