I dunno. There are plenty of games (most have already been mentioned) that were remade for handhelds and may be superior in terms of content and just the fact that you can take your favorite games on the go. But there are some games that I feel are just better experienced in the living room on a TV where anybody can come in and see what your playing. That and typically the sound coming out of your stereo feels pretty rewarding.

Like Chrono Trigger or Zelda (LttP or OoT). They're on handhelds so you can take them and enjoy them on the go, that's the whole point. But if I'm just hanging out at home, I can't stand not to play them on their original console. Zelda: OoT in particular I feel almost claustrophobic playing such a "big" game on such a small screen, like I should be able to turn my head and take in my surroundings but I can't.
