Reminder that before the release of N64 and PS1, Sony made a proposal to Nintendo to join their efforts and create a new console, but Nintendo declined.

Reminder that we could have had a timeline where Sony never entered the console market, but instead we got a CD-based Nintendo console with the power of the N64.

I would assume in this timeline Microsoft never would have entertained the idea to start messing around with the combined powers of Nintendo and Sony.

What about Extreme-G though? Is it closer in relation to Wipeout or F-Zero?

To the anon that recommended this,

I got my copy last week. This shit is the tits. I think it is a bit better than F-Zero X.

Can we talk about Extreme-G?
It's a pretty good game that I think it gets often overlooked when talking about racing games on the N64 (or futuristic racing games in general).
There's a good sense of speed, the controls are solid, it has a pretty good ost and the track-design is alright.
I didn't play XG2, but I heard is worse than the first game.
