This. All that happens is the prices for common games of even marginal quality rise because suddenly there’s a demand for them. On the other end of the spectrum, desirable or rare game prices shoot to the stratosphere because someone has the autistic need to complete their collection.

But yes. The end result is the same. Shelves full of games, never to be played again. And the quite frankly antisocial notion that if you have a rare/undumped game it should sit in your collection until it degrades (or you die) because the value might go down.

Also, because I always throw this into every “collector” thread: Fuck you MSX eBay sellers, they sell the rare games for cheap and try to gouge you on the most common games.
