Why would I use one of these? The Steamdeck and Switch are cool because they are produced by an actual gaming company. But, how come a smartphone wouldn't be preferable for emulation? You already carry it everywhere, and they are getting decently powerful, up to 6GB of RAM. The OLED screens look amazing and the resolution is already much higher than many retro games. Controllers could be attached via Bluetooth or USB, and a lot of games are so archaic that having touchscreen controls aren't a big issue.
