I used Japanese the Manga Way though. Its pretty damn good, it helps a lot to overcome the initial bump in the road by presenting you examples from actual manga.
Either way all you need to do is stick with it and then jump right into reading with a healthy dose of exposure

It's crazy people lingo for when a person or company commits a perceived grievance against a protected group.
No matter how small or flimsy, the initial claim will snowball out of control and a mob of even crazier people will start dissecting every little word and action of the chosen target. This mob will then try to pummel the target into submission with a coordinated social media firestorm.
It will not stop until the person or company apologizes, but in fact I am lying because apologizing usually makes things worse.


In this case one of the Ion Fury devs said rather innocuous shit on discord, crazy people ran with it and now you got a Daily Dot writer accusing the devs of being against transhumanism and....following the GOG twitter account?
