I know it goes without saying, but this thing blows my mind to the day.
Imagine having the stones to release an essentially incomplete game that you had to click together to another cart for the full experience.

Imagine being the poor tech staff being told by management that they've decided that you need to design this thing, and to attempt to justify it , it needs to interface with two other games that were not written with this in mind.

Mental.

Tbh I'm just bitter because as a kid I had sonic 1 and 2 on a multi game cart that didn't work with s&k
