I don't now about Thief but I always thought the attractive of MGS was the cinematic experience and not the stealth itself. I don't understand the camera at all and I don't think it works that well as an stealth game.

Tenchu can be clunky but it's a pure and unadulterated stealth experience.

It has a great art direction.
Wonky models and low res textures apart, they absolutely nailed it with the colors.

Because Fromsoftware owns the rights to Tenchu.
And every single time they tried to make a Tenchu game it was shit.
I wish they'd return the rights to Acquire.
