That's a major issue, but there are also all the other problems described which may be detrimental to playing the games. I only got the Chinese carts due to the desperation of being without money for the real articles. Just speaking from experience, the additional headaches may not be worth the "savings" of choosing the bootleg versions on many standpoints.

Master System games will work. The Chinese seller of that particular flash cart even gave a free microSD card with Genesis and Master System ROMs already on it. There is a button on the back of mine (the other Chinese one has it on top) for the Master System pause button.

I remembered it was like the GameGear displays 32 colors of a possible 4096 while the Genesis can do 64 but out of a possible 512. What if a game chooses to use one of those 3584 colors the GameGear has that the Genesis does not? I mean I know the Genesis does have a Z80 the Master System has but even that is worse at 32 of 64. It is cool to try them out with FM synthesis, but I don't think either can properly replicate how a GameGear may display an image. Plus I hear GameGear systems also suffer from leaky capacitors like a TurboDuo, so may as well mod out the screen and just have it spit out RGB to a TV/monitor.

I am already kind of upset at my fortune that when I finally got enough money to afford the "cheaper" Chinese SD2SNES, it ends out being revision F, the old one that doesn't have the new MSU-1 improvements. Now I just got in the other half of the order today and already these problems surface meaning I should have waited for a newer revision. I guess I get what I paid for and should have realized flashcarts are too fancy for my income, and Chinese knockoffs are a bad idea.

All this time I thought I saved by getting it through China, but according to that site under cheap clones, mine may be a bootleg because it too says "manufactured by krikzz" and "assembled in Ukraine."

Great, now I should be glad I haven't been able to test the flash cards yet (since I couldn't afford the SD cards) now that they can reduce the lifespan of my systems. Now I have 2 Genesis flashcarts for my clone console, which I don't care if it lives. At least the article approves of the Turbo Everdrive past v.2.

I was tempted last time /vr/ had a Chinese knockoff thread and thought just over $200USD for the SD2SNES and Mega Everdrive X7 was too good to be true, and it ended out being that way. Guess I didn't research whatever taobao was well enough.
