Game is pretty shit, first few levels are alright but it turns into a hellhole with instakill snipers in the trees and hidden minefields. But I love Vietnam war settings so I still finished it.

That's probably less thread relevant than AWOL for what it's worth. Either way, I think wikifags are just happy to eat any and all textwalls for their games.

On that note

You guys ever played NAM? It's a piece of shit but it's kinda fun.

So I've played through Duke, Blood and Shadow Warrior, Powerslave and Redneck Rampage and all their expansions. Also played all the Capstone Build Engine games. I even played Ken's Labyrinth. Now I need more.

Is NAM good? It's from the same guys who made TNT right?

Nam/Napalm, one of the last Build games. Everyone, including you, dies with a few bullets, below 20? health you start slowly bleeding to death, ied's, mines, and especially fucking airstrikes can one-shot you and are as much of a threat as the enemies, who hide in the jungle and ambush you. American supplies are safe, but drops from enemies have a random chance of being useless rotten food, or a booby trap.
A lot of effort was put into it - one level is modeled after Predator, and there's a secret multiplayer-only powerup that lets you become the Predator - but it's Frustrating as fuck, and I'm not surprised it's rarely mentioned.
Pretty realistic though, and the shotgun is good at medium range.
