I don't get why people hate their translations since they just come across as goofy for the most part, but I do get why people hate their gameplay changes. They literally made Exlie 1 or 2 unbeatable in the US version just due to how fucking absurd the damage you take is from enemies in the second dungeon and how little you can deliver in return.
