I mean, you can fix her, you just have to
Win the Tataroy Arena with her
Then level up her 7-Star Secret Skill
Then spam Flare and Thunder orb until you learn Southern Cross and Galaxy
Then unlock her Manual Dexterity talent
Then craft a Holy Orb

Then and only then she will be half as strong as any other mage that doesn't require any special treatment.

Fortunately you can build tech chains with her, since the game treats her as a fighter, so she can cast twice as fast.
