The first thing I do when I get a used game is remove any trace of previous ownership.The game is mine now.

The first thing I do when I get a used game is erase all evidence of any previous owners.

I take isopropyl/magic eraser/goobegone to the cartridge. I erase all saves.

Sorry little Pavl, but your mommy shouldn't have been so stupid as to sell your childhood game to me for $5. It's mine now.
