The TV was a hand-me-down from an aunt when I had to move out. Since I was unable to afford any new TVs, I've well used it even for modern digital signals which is what that Zenith transcoder box is for. I only recently got a Wii but the TV does not have component inputs, it only does S-video at best.

In my area, they fine people for disposing of CRTs or leaving them out. The rent the slumlord here demands has gone up significantly and I have no choice but to find a way to get rid of the TV. I can freely admit that I am not smart. It is why I encourage kids to stay in school. At least that is a path to get those mythical work from home jobs.

It was to test out aliexpress. It is good when I don't earn much money. Even now I am looking at the new Chinese gaming console offered on the site.

I got that repro with some more not often discussed games, here is another Chinese game I had to settle for called Twinkle Tale as I cannot afford the Japanese one.

I have been getting cheap Chinese bootlegs for the clone console pictured for my dungeon/sexnasium. Recently got a bootleg Chinese flash drive called the Mega Driver, and it works on the machine. I have had fun with this setup, especially since I can afford it, but OP's pic has expensive everdrives out of my pay grade.

I pair the clone console with Chinese bootlegs. It works with the Super Gameboy (1 & 2) and there is an adapter which allows for GBA games on the system too.

The controller ports for SNES/SFC only works with SNES/SFC games as are the NES controller ports are only for NES games. The Genesis ports work with all formats on the clone console. The two controllers it comes with looks like SNES controllers but are actually Genesis controllers.

The NES port outputs composite only, even through the S-video connector. The output on the Genesis/Mega Drive portion has some slight jailbars with alternating darker and lighter pixel columns. There may be some slight inaccuracies with NES games, like Castlevania 3 not working.

It is pretty fun for the little bit of money spent.

I would wait and see how the new HDMI version pans out before committing to buying one.

Not the person you replied to but those words sting me. Fuck, worked for minimum wage long enough that any time I get my raise of a quarter for a year, it is the new minimum wage. My recent pickups are fucking $4.50USD bootlegs from China for my offbrand "new" TV with a clone console. I have been waiting for a Wii-U price drop so I could even try some new games and Nintendo recalls them from all stores in my area, and the price never dropped with resellers asking for more than new due to the shortage. Fuck me.

A couple of bootlegs showed up. For under $4USD each shipped, I am enyjoying the novelty of the bootleg setup in my dungeon/sexnasium at this time. It will take about a half a year for me to save up to order those junfangames sd2snes and mega x7 combo from the largest Chinatown in the world.
