/vr/ - Retro Games

I cut through about 12 of these playing action platformers. I like seeing if I can play through 2 Mega Man or MMX games(or same game with both characters) before I get to sloppy. I can do a "no death" 100% run in X1 sloshed(gotta die to get the hadouken, but I don't use it). I love Super Metroid because the back tracking and remembering things gets pretty challenging. I can't do rpgs or zelda because of text heavy clues and it takes away from the atmosphere. I do, however, love firing up Fallout 1 and 2 on my back porch on a hot summer while sipping margaritas made from fresh squeezed limes. If I got a buddy over it's usually PBR and River City Ransom, Contra, Turtles or the like.
