Kirby's Adventure, Contra, Mega Man 2, and River City Ransom.

I actually prefer playing with the dogbone controller over the standard NES pad. What other anons think of it? There anyone that didn't own an NES until after the SNES was already out? What was it like?

The buttons are spaced the same on center but I think they're very slightly smaller it might be just the lack of all the trim though. It's all shifted upward slightly too to make more room for the analog sticks although it's taller (and thicker) too.

original controllers are okay. It's likely they would all benefit from a good disassembly/cleaning, though. Personally I find them a bit uncomfortable for long gaming sessions. If you can, find the revised "dog bone" style controller that Nintendo made in the '90s. It's pretty great. Sadly, they are in high demand, so an official one will probably cost upward of 25 bucks. There are knockoffs made, but I can't say how good they are.
