We can only hope. I liked the Deadpool movies,not great but the amount of violence and tone would fit better for classic Twisted Metal.

TV series based on videogames can be hit and miss.
You have good stuff like Earthworm Jim,Castlevania,Megaman and Sonic SatAM (Mario and Donkey Kong shows as well to a certain extent).

Twisted Metal is chalked full of lore and characters to work with,so you have to try to fuck it up.
