Also some interesting stuff, even with pcx the cylinder has mismatch texture issues due to the later pixels being darker than the brighter side we see, and it goes unnoticed due to the spinning animations
Second interesting stuff, all source ports Suffers from the same Interpolation issues changing the gun_z to fix the fov clipping issues reveals this issue left from Q1, its the same issues that the Nailgun has

Depends, SSG in this game is ALWAYS the must go weapon, and mostly because of the vanilla AI behavior ingame, which isn't the case with custom maps and mission packs, hyperblaster and chaingun mows shit with quad or double damage but it takes time to wind up, the BFG is OP, and then there are the mission pack guns, mainly the Phalanx and the Plasma Beamer, and the mother of all good shit that is the raaialgun.

the only things that people Hated in Q2 was the change weapon animations, which has a slight delay.
