The thing is, if they'd crossover those two games, as in use the Blitz engine to make an SF game, I'd be about as happy as one can be. But it's not necessarily the gameplay of 1-3 either so it might be hit and miss for people.

I think Shining Blade and Hearts tried that, with the PSP engine, but both of those are JP only and suffer from terribly small character rosters as I recall. Ontop of being Shining in name only as far as I know.

Yeah if anything that could work. All the VC games are bright and colourful too and stylised well enough so that I could see it working for a 3d SF game.
