The only problem with that is that you can't see everything from bird's eye. (corridors, halls, indoor spaces are obscured from above) On my maps they are denoted by dashed lines.

I'm going to run into trouble with this down the line, I know. I have yet to figure out how I'm going to deal with that.

If you're wondering why I'm doing this, it's because missing those couple of gems (not even ones that are hard to get at, just ones I missed for whatever reason) would drive me mad in the past. I would go through entire levels all over again trying to find them. Never again. I'm going to know this entire game by heart when I'm done.
