So this is maybe a retarded question, but I gotta ask. Ive had a Trinitron for a while now and it has plenty of ports on the back and one on the front. Now here's where Im a moron. I can't figure out how to change inputs. I can swap between DVD/HD/and TV which just results in snow, and can't figure out how to make use of all my video ports.

The inputs I can get it to go to work fine and I can hook whatever up too, it's just getting to be a pain to have to swap connections every time i want to play a different system and Id on't know if the guy I got it from did something weird to it.

pic related is not my set but the closest approximation I could grab a pic of right now. I won't be near my set for a while

I am trying to play Space Channel 5 but I keep missing beats when I feel like they should be right. I did some googling and it looks like newer tv's can throw off the timing somehow, and that it might be possible to mess with the tv settings to fix it. Does anyone know what specific tv settings to play with that would reduce input latency?
