This, I can't tell if people being ironic or actually insane with the mental gymnastics they go through to stay "/vr pure". Like as if you still aren't playing /vr/ gameboy games if you play it on a GBA, the best way to play any GB game. That would be like finding out someone has been playing all of their PS1 games on a ps2 and then saying that they didn't really experience them properly because it doesn't count unless you boot it up on a ps1. The absurdity is just way out of hand.

A non-meme answer would be to backlight mod a GBC. That is the only non-shit way to play old games on a gameboy.
