Would that statement apply to the multiformat (240p/480i/480p/720p/1080i compatible) versions of the BVM as well? What's the community's opinion on how to gauge the prices for that anyways (The D series, specifically. I already know the A series doesn't always come with an Analog Card and doesn't have the same card slot type as the regular BVMs).

Mini-rant below:
I don't want to be a downer to anyone but the apparent rise in prices isn't shocking at all if you have even a basic grasp of economics. With a static supply of healthy working monitors of high quality, no further production of any more units/parts, and demand that is only rising with a community becoming more aware of their existence, the supply vs. demand principle comes into effect. If more people want more of something but there is less available, the prices tend to rise due to a lack of abundance in the "market".
