Heard about Diablo 2, thought it was stupid.
Year 2003 comes around, with first girlfriend, we go to a yard sale and I see:

Diablo 2 Battle Chest
The fat cd jewel case version
$5

I grab it because "meh, whatever, its five bucks"

Never played it until 2006.
Pulled it out after moving into new place because I was bored AF.

however due to never having internet at my own home I never got into playing it or any other games multiplayer

except quake 2 at the university computer lab because it would install quickly and their lab computers had black ice so they didnt care if you installed things

but aside from some issues it is one of the best single player games ive had
