Both MoH on PSX are great, they do have some a serious theme / missions, and some more modern tropes, but they managed to keep the fun arcade shooting of mid 90's shooters at the same time. The level design is kinda in between as well. In short, it's the bridge linking two era of the genre.

Then the next MOH dwelled entirely on "serious realism" and shit like escort missions, AI controlled partnerns, etc there is still fun to be had there but it was the beginning of the end for the genre.

I wish there was a way to get the uncensored version of the game though. Maybe a beta will pop up one of these days. There used to be a lot more gore, blood, dismemberment, etc some pre-release material show it all.
