The original xbox controller is retro and is the same thing as the 360 controller minus the bumpers and (redundant) home button.

Besides, the whole point of this thread is that the xbox itself is what it is, BUT the xbox controller in particular is literally perfect for using with any emulator from the NES to the PS2, which is very on topic for /vr/. An xbox controller can be configured for anything because it has just the right amount of sticks/buttons/and triggers. The only reason this thread is focusing on the 360 controller is because it is most common but the idea is the same.

Also the original xbox itself is great for running emulators as well, but thats another story. The xbox and its controller are just very /vr/ friendly in general.
