Based. Actually had a cool Marathon Durandal dream this morning predicated on its floaty physics. Enemies (many of them simulacrums) would continuously flood in through two doors in a single large room, while the player has to ride elevators located in different corners, hitting switches that would activate further elevators/switches but also usher in larger waves of enemies. You couldn't control the elevators' descent so once on top you had several seconds to shoot as many simulacrums with your pistol and maximize splash damage, so that you could jump mid-air into an enemy-cleared path to the next elevator without getting blown up. After a few cycles these massive Shrek enemies - thin but probably 50 feet tall - began to spawn in and they could Hulk-punch you even at the top of an elevator. Those spooked me and I woke up.

Marathon makes me feel things that doom doesnt. Wish it was more popular, maybe one day Aleph One will run at 60fps then more people will play it

If you're talking about the image posted, yeah, Craig Mullins' art is great. That one in particular is actually a third-party edit, but nonetheless good.

Just about every one of his Marathon works are here, if anyone's interested:
