Gen 1 remains an odd gen for me due to all the sprites being weird for a kid like me.

I still can't get it into my head that the ledges are ledges. I just sort of see them as a brown barrier. All the rocks that block paths confused me as well. In game they must be fucking huge since you can't pass them, but to me they just look like big marshmellows. The bushes as well. They're everywhere and look like a blob of green, but they're meant to represent a bush or some sort of tree. Obviously there's the guard who everyone thought was a british guard.

I still don't know what these lines are meant to represent.
