This. Goddamnit it's an underrated one, and it was really well made and even advanced for the time. I still think that if it was called Doom II instead of actual Doom II, it would be a worthy sequel.

Now, this here is easily the best FPS noone EVER talks about. It has good weapons (plenty of), three playable characters with their own weapon and level sets (they are even voiced), smooth mouselook (with key mapping mouse speed adjustment in-game separately on X and Y without shitty setup.exe of the build3d titles), great music, great engine, nice picture-in-picture gimmick frequently used in some weapons and in level design, it came a month (or two or three, i can't remember) before Duke 3D... I can go on and on and on. And not a single fucking person noticed the game that has more right to be called Doom 2 (it has the same core principles but expanded) than the expansion ID came up with.
