I liked NES Pro Wrestling and Tecmo Pro Wrestling. Almost all the Aki engine wrestling games are outstanding. Fire Pro may be an acquired taste, but I like them. I dropped quite a few quarters into the WWF Superstars machines in bakeries and bars in the area back then. Saturday Night Slammasters was fun too but I had to travel to get to arcades with the cab. WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game is pretty fun, and its sequel "In Your House" was the most difficult Japanese import Saturn game for me to track down, so I convinced myself to like that one (worth the 200 JPY, but 5x more to ship to me).

I recently purchased the first Zen Nippon Pro Wrestling for Super Famicom because it looks good and sounds like Megaman X music (it was cheap, and if it is good, I will try its sequel).

I feel the same way about everyone with the Goemon (Legend of the Mystical Ninja) games. Don't have it, and it seems so very fun, but I cannot afford it if I were to try and get it now.

I too enjoyed playing games for all systems. Saturn was my primary system at the time, but I did buy and play Sin & Punishment in its day on a friend's N64 prior to owning my own N64. (Admittedly, I have not played nor do I have any clue if Wonder Project J2 is any good, got it because it was cheap and had a cyte girl on the cover)

Not here to prove coolness, just the company of 4chan. Old enough to be a great grandfather to many here, knew from magazines and Japanese marketplace nearby.

I like the Fire Pro games just as I do the Aki ones. I do not recall a Fire Pro game on N64.

I like both. In fact, I even like the others too like NEC, SNK, Sony, etc. Just as I do ECW, RoH, TNA, etc.


Nintendo = WWF
Sega = WCW
NEC = ECW
SNK = RoH
Sony = TNA


Fire Pro games are great too
